Cardrona Alpine Resort

Cardrona’s off-piste terrain is rolling and diverse.

In the Main Basin Westons’ Gap and Skyline are the easier of the off-trail sections, while Last Shot Bowl can provide a little more pitch.

Both Captain’s and Arcadia Basins offer a larger selection of intermediate and advanced off-piste skiing and riding. Area’s known as Tulips and Powder Keg provide opportunities for steeper pitches with many rock drops, while Arcadia Chutes offers a number of steeper chutes.

If the snow line is low, it’s well worth exploring the off-trail terrain under the Valley View Quad, but be wary of rocks when the snow is thin on the ground down at this altitude.
